Peru is the third largest producer of copper and silver, and the seventh of gold. Its vital accumulated growth of nearly 2 years is due mostly to the production of copper.
Copper production reached 32.82% in November due to new mines and recovery of mineral prices.
The mining sector occupies 60% of that country’s exports. According to the government, the country ends 2016 with an economic growth of 4% compared to 3.3% last year.
